On Wednesday, October 22, 2003 the members of the Mid Moraine Municipal Association gathered to hear Representative John Gard, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly discuss budget crises in the state and other initiatives pending before the legislature.

	Scott Mittelsteadt, President of the Mid-Moraine Municipal Association, called the meeting to order
	The association was welcomed by Slinger Village President, Russell Brandt.
	Representative John Gard, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly addressed the state budget and other problems and was amazingly frank in answering questions.

	The MMMA Board of Directors gathered after the regular meeting to make decisions guiding the association's future.
